// For job seekers with disabilities

Jobs with employers who accommodate, not just accept.

Every employer on hireDiverse posts here because they are actively recruiting across Canada's employment equity groups — including people with disabilities, chronic illness and neurodivergence. Browse live roles below, free, with no account required.

// Four things that change your results

The barrier is rarely the work itself — it is the process around it. These four moves put accommodation on the table early, on your terms.

  1. 01

Request accommodations for the hiring process itself

You are entitled to accommodation during recruitment, not only after you are hired: extra time on assessments, questions in advance, a written instead of phone interview, an accessible interview location. Ask the recruiter directly — it is a normal request.

  2. 02

Decide when, and whether, to disclose

Disclosure is your choice and there is no single right timing. You only need to disclose the accommodation you need, not your diagnosis. Many people disclose after an offer; others disclose earlier because they want an employer who responds well.

  3. 03

Read the posting for the real requirements

Check whether physical requirements, shift patterns or travel are genuine to the role or boilerplate. If it is unclear, ask before you rule yourself out — employers on this board routinely adjust duties that were never essential.

  4. 04

Treat remote and flexible work as a filter

If predictable energy, transport or environment matters to you, filter for remote and hybrid roles first and confirm the flexibility is real in the interview: who else works remotely, how are hours tracked, how is flare-up leave handled.

// Common questions

Do I have to disclose my disability to apply?
No. Disclosure is entirely voluntary and you never have to name a diagnosis. You can apply to any role without disclosing, and request accommodation at whatever point in the process feels right to you.
Am I entitled to accommodation during the interview?
Yes. Under Canadian human rights legislation, employers must accommodate to the point of undue hardship, and that duty applies during recruitment. Requesting extra time, questions in advance or an accessible format is a legitimate request.
Are these jobs remote or accessible?
It varies by posting. Each listing states its location and work model, and many employers on the board hire remote or hybrid. Accessibility details are best confirmed directly with the employer during screening.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. hireDiverse is always free for job seekers. There is no account required to browse, and no fee at any stage. Employers pay to post; you never pay to apply.
How often are new jobs added?
The board updates continuously as employers post. New listings appear on this page automatically, so it's worth checking back weekly or following the roles that match your field.
